MSPC 2007 Limit Show

Judges Critique

Thank you for the committee’s kind invitation to judge the clubs show, the welcome and sociability on a winters day was most enjoyable and warming. The enthusiasm and support from exhibitors was sporting and made for a good atmosphere at the show. I felt the youngsters show good promise for the future and was pleased with the entry, and those present, who had made it for me to judge there dogs.

VETERAN DOG
1st KONISHIKI SLAVE TO LOVE WITH JANERYL Owner: Mrs. B. Lloyd
Strong solid dog of compact appearance, good eye and small ear set, flat and broad skull, would like more muzzle to balance, good in neck and top line, good front and bone, moderate winking and harsh coat, best on the move in this class.
2nd STARFERRY WILD BILL HICCUP Owner: Mr. B & Mrs. C. Bull & Miss. L. Warren
Good width with nice balance and shape, good angles front and rear, has a good ear set, slightly lighter all though, as 1 he was moving with purpose and good stride.

PUPPY DOG
1st COATAKINTI PUT A SPELL ON YOU Owner: Miss. V. Poole
Strong large well muscled dog with good loose skin and frowning expression, he has a broad skull and muzzle, good body, tail and topline, he shows good gate at this stage and moved with style. BEST PUPPY DOG
2nd KASHATTANG GUERRERO-MARCEUMEENA Owner: Mrs. J. Day
I loved the head on this lad, good ear, eye, and expression, good muzzle padding, he is growing well in body, has nice shape throughout and was good on the move.

JUNIOR DOG
1st KONISHIKI LORD NELSON Owner: Mrs. R. Rupniak
Good shape and outline, nice balance and good proportions, greet you on this boy, excellent development in head with flat skull, to muzzle and small ear set well, good mouth and jaw with good padding to lip, pleases in front with chest and body growth, he has a rising topline and was great on the move covering the ground well in side profile, was malting with coat coming through, imprested in the challenge for BEST DOG today.

POST GRADUATE DOG
1st STARFERRY THE LONE RANGER Owner : Mr. B & Mrs. C. Bull & Miss. L. Warren
Vigorous and balanced style on the move, flat broad skull, would like slightly more muzzle length to balance, good jaw and lip padding, carries a good compact body, strong neck and has a good front and feet, good quality coat.

LIMIT DOG
1st STARFERRY SCOTCH MIST Owner : Mr. B & Mrs. C. Bull & Miss. L. Warren
Good overall shape balance and head properties, with pleasing loose skin, he is compact and powerful, muzzle is broad and full, though could do with a little more length to fit skull balance, he is well built in neck, shoulders and topline, has a good rib length and filled chest, I like his rear quarters and angles, he has good action behind and is free in his side action, could tighten at the front but did not spoil overall picture for RES BEST DOG

OPEN DOG
1st KASHATTANG GUERRERO-MARCEUMEENA Owner : Mrs. J. Day
Improved performance here bringing himself to better stance and shape.

VETERAN BITCH
1st STARFERRY SCARLET RIBBONS FOR QINROSE Owner : Mr. S. & Mrs. G. Wisbey
Two lovely oldies with great attitude, 1st just edges it on lead, alert and active in expression, she is well built in body and chest, goes well on the move with a positive action and edged out the dog for BEST VETERAN IN SHOW.
2nd TAIYATTANG CLAIM TO FAME AT IMZADI Owner : Mr. A. & Mrs. C Jenkins
Not quite the finish in body of 1 but loved her attitude, she was at one with her handler and really enjoying her day out, pleasing in head, properties she is still up for it at 11years old.

PUPPY BITCH
1st QINROSE RED VELVET FOR BULLPEI Owner : Mr. D. & Mrs. W Hodgkinson
Lovely youngster with great head properties and an active attitude, liked her ear and eye proportions, she has a good front, body and chest development, liked her topline and well muscled rear end, she has good coat cover, an eye catching colour and is a strong mover covering the ground well with good stride well handled for BEST PUPPY IN SHOW
2nd STARFERRY KINKY BOOTS Owner : Mr. B & Mrs. C. Bull & Miss. L. Warren
Well padded and strong head with the body coming through to match, will be a challenge to most in the future, she has a square shape good overall balance, nice front and rear with a good stride and great side action, she has a competent handler who worked well throughout the day, and was in harmony with her charges.

JUNIOR BITCH
1st SHARSOWN JESSICA RABBIT JW Owner : Mrs. B. Lloyd
Quality exhibit with a typical head of the correct balance in skull to muzzle proportions, she has an excellent balance in neck and body shape, liked her ear set, eye, muzzle and padding, flat skull and jaw line, she has such style, carries herself well, is in good coat covering her well muscled frame, she has a good rise in topline over the loin and uses herself well on the move, with her superb side action, for me she certainly was the star today

LIMIT BITCH
1st QINROSE CALL ME MADAM Owner : Mr. S. & Mrs. G. Wisbey
Good muscled body and top line on this young lady, smaller ratio in head to body with not quite the padding in muzzle, alert small ears, good shape, strong quarters, slightly straight in stifle, good coat, not quite front and side movement of others in challenge on the mats.

OPEN BITCH
1st TIANSHAN SPARKS "N" FLOWERS Owner : Mrs. L. Rupniak
loved the head balance on this girl, with her skull to muzzle proportions, eye ear and jewline, good padding and alert attitude, she has a square overall shape and style, good topline and front quarters and tail set, well filled chest and rib length, strong front and moving well an easy action, close decision in the challenge but the younger bitch just had it in movement today RES BEST BITCH
