It was a pleasure to judge the excellent entry at this very friendly show and I thank everyone for their sporting attitude in applauding my placings.
VETERAN DOG
1st Bull and Warren's Starferry Devil Rays. Black with the most excellent pigmentation. Good clear eyes, nice expression. Well boned, correct proportions and quality on the move. Belies his ten years.
2nd. Butterfield's Ch/F Ch Forgevalley Pause And Pose For Chequerpei ShCM At just eleven his eyes axe starting to reflect his age. Nice expression, good neck and a nice mover.
PUPPY DOG
1st Bull and Warren's Starferry King Of Swing Good sized male with expressive head, good ears and clean eyes. Bite could be tighter. Adequate bone but needs exercise to tighten his feet which were decidedly flat today. Hope his action will improve with maturity and some more practice.

POST GRADUATE DOG
1st Butterfield and Bradley's Jolerob What Bloom1n Angel With Chequerpei Well proportioned, good head with small ears and clean eyes. Nicely boned and good feet. Correct top line and moved satisfactorily.
2nd. Grey's Samsara Arch Bishop, I liked him but he was somewhat unsettled on the day. Excellent pigmentation, good type, pleasing on the move, particularly going away. Tailset could be higher.
3rd MacKnight's Mijujo Wa'ter Palava.
LIMIT DOG
1st Allen's Headholme Am I Bovered Strong headed male with small ears and excellent eyes both shape and colour. Acceptable pigmentation but I would prefer more colour on his flews to please me aesthetically. Lovely bone and well sprung in rib. Top line very good and each time he moved he became more settled and demonstrated reasonable action both ways. BD and BIS.

1st Grimshaw's Headholme Easy Rider At Sharpuggles Very sturdy, strong beaded male with good top line. Well filled head and good neck, carries himself really well and stands square. Nice bone and feet. Moved better at rear than in front. Res BD.
VETERAN BITCH
1st Lloyd's Mijujo Puff Of Smoke JW ShCM. In good condition for her nine years. Nice head, a little over-exaggerated in top line. Good spring and length of rib. Moved well and shows to advantage but is just a little too wrinkled to appeal to me.
MINOR PUPPY BITCH
1st Poole's Coatakinti Walnut Whip. Red with pleasing head, good ears and enough wrinkle for her 8 months. Good mouth, excellent topline and good tailset. Nice depth to body and balanced all round.
2nd. Rowlands' Quinnhalo Ambler Gambler For Meixiu. Sweet headed fawn who stands a little longer than 1. A bit loose all round at present but whe should tighten and improve with maturity.

1st Butterfield's Loupei's Grace N Favour With Chequerpei. Lovely red with excellent head properties. Good ears and nicesquare front. Lovely legs and tight feet. Excellent top line, well sprung solid ribcage and demonstrated good action. Topped a strong class.
2nd MacKnight's Coatakinti Whipin Fantastic. Bigger all round than 1 and unfortunately this extended to her ears but that said it is a small part and the rest is impressive. Super bone and balance and an excellent mover.
3rd Dawson's Loupei's Flashlight On Quinnhalo. Sister to 1.

1st Grimshaw's Sharpuggles I'm A Lady. Nice size, unexaggerated head with good eyes and bite. Neat ears. Nicely boned, good apring to ribcage and in excellent coat. Carried her tail wall. Good angulation at rear and moved OK.
NOVICE BITCH
1st Poole's Coatakinti Miss Whiplash. The best mover here and impressive in outlinc and balance, rich deep red colour with excellent pigmentation. Feminine head with plenty of expression. Excellent depth to her body and well boned with tight feet. BPIS

1st Chandler's Jentiki Hello I'm Maude At Chandshar. Well made with good shoulder angulation. Good head, neat ears and excellent pigmentation. Nice coat and condition. Good topline and tailset. Moved quite well, may just lack a little in neck.
LIMIT BITCH
1st Bull and Warren's Starferry Beijing Beauty. Attractive pale colour in excellent coat condition. Flat skull and strong muzzle but no impediment to teeth from bottom lip. Pleasing outline, top line and tail set. Small ears, good eyes and stands on good feet with excellent bone. Just a bit loose on the move but quality all round. Res BB.

Super head which is balanced throughout, good skull and muzzle, excellent eyes and ears and good pigmentation. Lovely reach of neck leading into correct topline and high set tail. Lovely feet and good front. Moved with power and control. BB.
2nd Morris' Ashowai Living The Dream JW. Smaller and somewhat heavier than one. Good ears and nice eyes but lower rims could be tighter. Nicely ribbed up and tailset OK. Not moving at her best today.
